With a beach location and vintage flair, the Postcard Inn on the Beach is worth writing home about for our guests. Part retro cool, part mid-century minimalism, the two-floor, exterior-corridor inn's surfer-chic design aesthetic is out of the ordinary. All 196 individually decorated rooms include flat-panel cable TVs and down-filled duvets. There's an acclaimed restaurant on-site along with the oldest bar on the beach and a snack shack serving up good eats from breakfast through the wee hours. The hotel also has a fitness room, an outdoor pool, volleyball and billiards, and parking is free. Being directly located on the shores of St. Pete Beach is hard to beat, but if you're hankering for a little adventure, throw on your flip-flops and stroll down the way. There are countless beach bars and eateries nearby to divert your attention. Of course, a trip to St. Pete wouldn't be complete without a visit to the world-famous Dali Museum in downtown St. Pete, a 25-minute drive. There, you might also want to check out the Holocaust Museum, the Pier and marina and the shops of BayWalk. St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport is 15 miles away.
