Ocean Gate is a group of garden-view condo buildings within the Hibiscus Oceanfront Resort on Butler Beach, just south of St. Augustine Beach. Set back from the dunes among the resort's landscaped grounds, the condos are quiet and private.
Guests share all of the resort's amenities: three swimming pools, two hot tubs, a tennis court and grills. The boardwalk over the dunes to the beach is a short walk through the resort.
The condos have one or two bedrooms, full kitchens and a private balcony looking over the gardens. The one-bedroom condos suit couples, and the two-bedroom, two-bath condos sleep up to six.
Historic St. Augustine, with the Castillo de San Marcos, St. George Street and the St. Augustine Lighthouse, is a short drive north on A1A. Many of the condos include complimentary daily attraction tickets and a $100 beach gear credit.
