The Hibiscus Oceanfront Resort sits among the dunes on Butler Beach, a quieter stretch of sand just south of St. Augustine Beach. Its low-rise buildings are spread across landscaped grounds, so guests can choose an oceanfront or ocean-view condo by the dunes, or a pool-view condo overlooking the courtyard.
The resort has three swimming pools, two hot tubs, a tennis court, a clubhouse and grills. A boardwalk crosses the dunes to the beach, a walk of just a few minutes from most of the buildings.
The condos have two or three bedrooms, full kitchens, living and dining areas, and a private balcony or porch. Most two-bedroom condos sleep five or six guests, and the three-bedroom condos sleep up to eight.
Historic St. Augustine, with the Castillo de San Marcos, St. George Street and the St. Augustine Lighthouse, is a short drive north on A1A. Many of the condos include complimentary daily attraction tickets and a $100 beach gear credit.
