La'au Hale

We really loved staying here. The house is fully stocked with everything you could need, from kitchen appliances, to grill, to beach gear. It's very clean, and comfortable, and has a great deck and outdoor space to appreciate the sunrise and rain storms. The staff were super helpful and responsive to any questions or issues we had. The only downside is that it's adjacent to a busy road. The driveway is off that so no worries for small kids, but there is a decent amount of road noise when you're in the living room. The bedrooms are super quiet though!

Watching the sun rise through the trees lining the golf course is a beautiful start to the day—the large deck was one of our favorite places in the house. Quiet neighborhood. Older home has been nicely renovated and maintained. All the bedrooms, bathrooms, and main rooms are nicely sized. We wish there had been air conditioning. Management staff is very helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

We were very happy with the location and close proximity to Hanalei Bay and all that the North Shore had to offer. There was plenty of room for our party of 5. It cooled off at night so not having AC was not a problem. Very clean and well stocked kitchen. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

This house was perfect for our family of six. Grandma and grandpa were in the main floor bedroom and our family of four were in the bedrooms and bath downstairs. EVERYONE commented on how comfortable the bedding was. Quiet location on a sleepy golf course. ( we saw 2golfers in a week) Fully equipped home. My only comment would be shades on the master bath which is private but allows light into the master bedroom. This has probably been taken care of by now.

It was perfect for us, fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook, and located close of all kinds of north shore spots. There’s even a farmers market walking distance! It was clean and had all the beach amenities plus yoga mats for working out and fruit trees!

This rental was absolutely perfect for my family's Kaua'i vacation. It's a 5 minute drive to Foodland and a 15 minute drive to Hanalei Bay or Anini Beach. We spent all morning at the beach and made great use of the provided beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards, and umbrellas. Thank you so much! We spent the afternoons checking out restaurants and shops. We spent the evenings lounging on the breezy and cool lanai. The 3 bedrooms were perfect for my mom, my husband and me, and my two children. There were 2 bathrooms as well. There is so much space in this house and it was so relaxing. The kitchen is completely stocked (pans, colander, kettle, coffee makers, dishes, measuring spoons/cups, etc). We were able to make our own dinners every night. If we are able to go back to Princeville, we would definitely come back.

The house next door is being built but they only worked on it during the day (when we were at the beach). At night it was quiet. The house is on a street corner and we could hear the road noise a lot of the time, but it didn't bother us during the day and I didn't even notice it at night. I am not tolerant of noise and my own home is whisper quiet so for the noise not to have bothered me means that it wasn't that loud. There is no AC and it got hot in the upstairs bedroom in the evening, but once the sun went down, the overhead fan was able to cool the room enough to sleep.

I asked management a million questions and they provided a very helpful, same day answer every time. Thank you Makana Kaua'i Properties!
