Home to more than 200 species of fish, Key Largo is bordered by Florida Bay and the Everglades National Park backcountry on the west and the beautiful waters of the Atlantic Ocean’s Gulf Stream. The nutrient-rich waters of the Caribbean Basin which flow into the Straits of Florida. These sources provide multitudes of bait fish which, in turn, attract large numbers of game fish to the Keys. Book a deep-sea charter into the Atlantic to catch sailfish, marlin, and mahi or catch a backcountry charter into the waters of Florida Bay. The elusive slam - a permit, bonefish, and a tarpon in one day - is an angler’s dream come true. If you’re feeling adventurous, try party-boat fishing, day or night. Snapper and grouper are popular catches but you might be surprised at what you encounter!
