Ocean House II Unit 2802

We enjoyed our stay so much. The room was beautiful and was very close to the beach. The balcony was very large and we couldn't have asked for it to be cleaner or stocked with what we needed for our trip. You can buy ice from the Security shack and Security was very nice.We really liked that there weren't so many floors so the elevator was quick. The lobby was very welcoming and the luggage carts were very helpful. We were very close to all the restaurants and events. We will be back next year.

Ocean House 2 #2802 was a great vacation stay! Cozy modern decor, all the necessities, and the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept on! Great balcony with amazing ocean views. Our kids loved the pool! Super close to all the great spots! Definitely recommend!

Very clean and beautiful condo/facility overall, but did have some mold starting on inside of shower curtain before we arrived where it had been bunched up wet and not washed recently. Storage placement could be optimized. An extra towel bar in bathrooms or bedrooms for hanging wet towels/swim suits would be nice, and maybe a small dresser for sitting supplies/clothing in bedrooms. The cubbies in bathroom aren't ideal for cleaning between guests so we didn't use them, and there's not much room for hanging clothes because the cubbies take up most of the closet space. Very loud washer dryer. Can't hear TV while doing laundry. Coffee maker takes about 30 minutes to brew a small pot. I've notice that most condos on the beach tend to get black (? Mold) on the ceilings. This place has several small areas. Not as bad as our last place.

Clean and minimalistic. Excellent view and location! Couldn’t beat the view or the pool! Enjoyed the simple and neutral touches. Communication was great and we loved how attentive they were. They checked in daily and were there for any needs/concerns. Second bedroom was perfect for our small children. Overall, very pleased. Price was great also!

Overall, we loved this place. It met our needs for space, cooking, safety, beach view. Easy access to beach, wonderful pool area. There was no exercise room or hot tub as advertised Main patio door was very hard to close, bedroom #2 door didn’t close. To make it more comfortable there could be better chairs in the living room and on the patio. The best recommendation we can give is we would go back!

Overall ok stay. The condo was lacking many supplies in the kitchen and the oven/stove did not work properly. Attempts to notify mgmt were unanswered It was not cleaned thoroughly (sand and sticky stains on floor upon arrival). The condo is older and although attempts were made at updates, it def shows its age.

Our main goal for our trip was to find last minute beach front property and this place was perfect for that! The building is older but the condo has been updated beautifully. The shower in the guest room is very small so be aware if you have any tall guests that they may need to use the shower in the main bedroom. The cabinets are the one thing that doesn’t seem to have been replaced and they are worn and could afford to be cleaned on the inside. Other than that, everything was super clean and sanitized. The kitchen has only the most basic pots/pans, tools, etc., so if you’re planing to cook much, be sure to come prepared with what you need. The pool was nice and big compared to the condo pools around it, and the beach access was perfect.

The condo itself is absolutely beautiful with great views of the beach. Only complaint I have is there’s not enough parking. You pay for two parking spots then you have to worry if you leave and come back if you’ll have a parking spot. The livingroom door is hard to shut and knobs on laundry/trash can door does not stay on.

We had great weather..one day of rain...but I always say a rainy day at the beach is better than a sunny day at home!! The ocean was rough most of the time..but beach and pool was still great! FYI! There are no tents allowed on Gulf Shores beaches anymore and they monitored it like a hawk..they did let people set up if placed close to the dunes but not near ocean. The condo itself is freshly remodeled. It needs some items that I consider normal. Like any kind of drawers to put clothes in. or at the very least a luggage rack. We had to live out of suitcase. They need a lot of kitchen items...some of us cook at the beach. Needs a blender,mixer,steak knives, cutting board, bake wear, and maybe plastic containers. The few pans that were there were awesome! The washer sounded like rocks inside and it only washed on hot..even when turned knob to cold. After all the remodel the cabinets in both baths and kitchen are still in bad shape. The countertops are beautiful.
It's not all negative...the balcony and outdoor furniture is great. We loved the easy access with the code system. They left plenty of towels and extra soap/shampoo/ dishwasher pods. It was very clean. We never found the "private lobby for each unit" that is listed in the description.
The beds were comfy as well as the couch. Overall, we had a great time and made due with what was provided. I mean your at the beach!! Right on the ocean and sand with a beautiful view! Thanks for sharing your home!
