Sunrise Charters provides inshore, nearshore, and backcountry fishing excursions throughout the waterways of Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Fort Morgan. Guided by Captain Todd Brice, a USCG-certified captain with over two decades of local experience, the charter specializes in navigating the shallow flats of Mobile Bay, Bon Secour Bay, and the Intracoastal Waterway. Trips are conducted aboard a 27 foot Shearwater bay boat powered by a 350 HP Yamaha engine, accommodating up to four anglers. The vessel features modern marine electronics, multiple livewells, a wireless trolling motor, and a fully enclosed onboard toilet for passenger comfort.
Excursions range from three to four hours, catering to both novice and experienced anglers, with dedicated family-friendly options. Depending on the season and federal regulations, target species include Speckled Trout, Southern Redfish, Flounder, Sheepshead, and seasonal Red Snapper. Sunrise Charters supplies all necessary Penn and Shimano rods, reels, tackle, artificial lures, and live bait for the trip. Passenger bookings also cover required Alabama state fishing licenses, and the captain provides complimentary catch cleaning and filleting services at the boat launch upon return.
