The condo was not worth the expense. We paid $348 a night. We found two cockroaches in the condominium; when I informed the office, I was met with no reply. The pool is very small and the area leaves a lot to be desired. You have to cross a very busy road to reach the swimming area. Advertised is three hot tubs but two of them were not in service. The golf course was closed for maintenance. You can hear every one around the condominium as well. The only advantage of this stay was the proximity to the ocean :(

This unit is lovely! A great view of the Gulf and easy beach access. The unit is well appointed, fully updated and very comfortable. The back deck is large. The kitchen has all amenities. Beds are very comfortable. Close to all amenities at SP Cove.

Great location for everything. Condo was clean and the beach was steps away. The only thing I would suggest is a cooler and koozies for taking drinks and food to the beach.

My family of 6 (3 teen children and a ten year old) stayed at this lovely condo for 4 nights. We loved the location steps to the beach, pools, tennis and 9 hole golf course. There was plenty of room, washer/dryer and well appointed kitchen (we cooked most nights). The free beach chair/umbrella rental on the beach that came with unit was very nice. Also, snack bar and drinks right by beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend!

This unit is by far one of the BEST!!! I have been coming to Sandpiper Cove since 2000 and always try to stay here. It has changed several times over the years and this year was a huge surprise. WHAT AN UPGRADE! It looks beautiful!!!! You absolutely cannot beat the location.

The Condo was located perfectly on beach. Only drawback was parking. You very rarely got one up front which made it difficult to unload groceries, luggage, etc. It was up front where EVERYONE would drive to go to beach and would park in your spot. The freezer was not making ICE but in their defense , they brought bags of ice for freezer for us !! They were friendly and very helpful. Great location to beach and Pools very close .The Condo was very well taken care of and the beds were amazing. Had WIFI issues but they came IMMEDIATELY and fixed the problem. So Kudos to the Maintenance people. And could not have made it without the complimentary umbrella for the kids at the beach. Overall a great trip and would come back.

Step out of the condo's back porch onto the beautiful beach at Destin. Beach chairs and umbrella are a huge bonus (must get their early b/c there are a limited number). Front of condo is literally steps to the beach grill. Great food and adult drinks too. One inconvenience is that there is no reserved parking, not much problem late afternoon and night, but if you leave during beach hours, there is no telling where you will have to park. Of course, the entire Sandpiper Cove is the same way as far as parking goes. We would gladly stay here again.

Sandpiper Cove is a lovely property/association. The customer service and property management is excellent. 1139 is very nice!!! A "sister" property we also rented, 1137, was almost identical however had a kitchen island added, which was very accomodating, and also a beautiful deck and access steps. 1139 is great but I think 1137 is a better option. Both were very clean, updated appliances and furnishings, beautiful.

Things I liked: furnishings and decor very nice, not overcrowded.
One staircase down to parking area next to the dune crossover and the Sand Trap. My mom is not as mobile as before and this was just the right amount of walking for her.
Easy drive to several restaurants and grocery and Rx.

Had a nice time at Sandpiper Cove. Our view was great! The restaurant that’s on site is excellent! This time of the year it was very quiet which was what we wanted! Would stay in this unit again.

If this condo ever went up for sale, I'd buy it. I wanted beachside for my 4 night solo stay--I used to stay at SPC 4 weeks a year when I was growing up; my dad passed last year and I wanted a remembrance trip to our old favorite place to be. This condo is so clean and perfect for a peaceful getaway or a family/friends vacation. The deck is huge and has lots of chairs and a table if you're traveling with a larger group or make friends and want to socialize. I found the king size bed in the primary suite quite comfy and made good use of the vanity. There is room for a vanity seat under the counter so that is something the owners may want to consider providing so a person could sit while sipping a drink and doing their makeup/hair. This location is an easy Uber ride away from shopping, restaurants, etc. and of course right next to the pavilion and Rick's where you can grab a drink and beachy food. Everyone at the leasing office was professional and very kind. I placed a couple of grocery orders through Uber Eats for some essentials and even had wine delivered via the UE app--you really never have to take time away from the beach for those pesky chores. :) 10/10 loved staying here and will be back again.

We have stayed at Sandpiper exclusively over the last couple years. The property management has always been polite and professional. This particular unit is a perfect location especially with small children.

Great location for beach access and family fun! Provides everything you need to enjoy the beach and have a calm and refreshing stay. The condo has direct access from the back deck to beach boardwalk and you can listen and watch the waves from the back deck. Master bedroom has a bathroom along with another bathroom in the main hallway for the rest of the condo. Staff was awesome!
