Celebrating the Recovering Environment
This year’s theme of the Forgotten Coast en Plein Air Paint-Out will focus on the natural environment as it recovers from Hurricane Michael. The artists will be showcasing scenes of the recovery efforts. They'll be using an eclectic mix of styles and concepts to create memorable works destined to hang on your wall or prop on your mantel.
Ten Days of Art
Now in its second decade, the event offers a full palette of activities for both onlookers and participants. Live art demonstrations, showcases of student work, artist receptions, distinguished guest speakers, lunch-and-learns, and a collector’s forum offer something for everyone, from casual visitors to artists and collectors. Student Art Day
Local youth from Gulf and Franklin County schools enjoy one-on-one instruction from the artists, enabling them to create their own masterpieces for viewing in the Wetroom. Students are supplied with a canvas, paints, and brushes and allowed to choose their own subject. You’ll be amazed by the talent!
