Stevie Wonder Heads Star-Studded Hangout Line-up

The Hangout Music Fest has done it again. For the fourth year in a row, the popular Gulf Shores extravaganza is boasting a knock-your-socks-off line-up of stars that would do any city proud. Headliner for this year’s show is the legendary Stevie Wonder, 22-time Grammy Award winner and a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Wonder, a 50-year veteran of the music business, is well known for such classic hits as “You Are the Sunshine of My Life,” “Sir Duke,” and “I Just Called to Say I Love You.” He joins a talent-heavy list that also includes Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and the Kings of Leon. In years past, the Hangout Festival, which consistently draws whopping crowds of 35,000-plus per night, has featured perennial favorite the Dave Matthews Band, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jack White, and, in a rare concert appearance, Paul Simon. Dates for Hangout Fest 2013 are May 17, 18, and 19. All performances will be held in front of the Hangout restaurant, on the public beach in Gulf Shores. At this time, there are still General Admission tickets available for purchase at http://hangoutmusicfest.com/tickets/. Cost of the tickets is $229 per person.   VIP and other premium tickets are also available. Many area vacation rental properties offer Hangout Fest tickets as part of their reservations package.
