Trinity Episcopal Church

The 1838 church has an interesting construction history. It was prefabricated in White Plains, New York, and shipped by schooner to Apalachicola. Its early founders included Dr. John Gorrie, inventor of the first ice-making machine, and botanist Alvin Chapman.
