Apalachicola National Forest

The 571,088-acre forest - the largest in Florida - offers a variety of recreational options, including bicycling, hiking, horseback riding, and camping. Other attractions include 67 miles of the Florida National Scenic Trail, an unusual geological area of caverns and sinkholes called Leon Sinks, and the wild-flower-filled Apalachee Savannas.
