You’ll be smack-dab in the Sportfishing Capital of the World, so charter a boat and set sights on several of 500-plus species of indigenous fish, including bonefish, tarpon, snook, redfish, and spotted seatrout. Landlubbers may consider a short drive to Windley Key Fossil Reef Geological State Park. It’s designed around a quarry from which fossilized coral was mined in the early 1900s for building Henry Flagler’s Overseas Railroad.
