The condo is in an amazing location. The pool and beach are so close, my wife woke up every morning and sat out enjoying a book while drinking coffee and listening to the waves. Some reviews say things about carpet we did not see an issue and found the carpet, and the rest of the condo very clean and spacious. We will definitely book 1206 again thank you for the great memories!!

It was a three bedroom condo that myself and three of my adult children stayed in. It was said to sleep up to 8. However, we were only given 2 parking passes that we had to pay $30 for. The third car had the option of also paying $30, but would have to park in a sand parking lot that the security guard told us most people get stuck in and had to be towed at their own expense. I did not know this when booking the unit. If I had, I would have looked elsewhere.

We have been using Gulf Shores Rentals for the past 21 yrs, however each year using the golf pkg gets harder and harder. Also the floor in the condo was filthy. I had to mop it 3 times before it was clean.

Great location,,view is fantastic ,,the unit is very dated, bathroom locks you in,,advertise two king beds not so maybe queen and king ,,carpet in bedroom bad shape,,

We enjoyed our stay. Even though it was the beginning of spring break uou would have never known in the building. The only thing I would have changed it the lock on the door still uses a key and dead bolt. That is the only way to make sure door is locked probably time to upgrade to a keypad. Othere then that over all Condo and location was awesome.

Ocean House is one of the smaller condo units in Gulf Shores. We enjoyed our stay there. The pool is a zero entry and one of the biggest pools by the beach. The unit was clean and well stocked with the items we needed to get us started. We did have an issue with some electrical in the front master but it was reported. The unit was on the second floor and had a great view of the ocean. Our family really enjoyed it.

The condo is in a great location and looks nice but needs some work. When we arrived, the disposal backed up into the other side of the sink. The bathtub in the beach front room didn’t drain correctly. The master garden tub was turned into a shower and not done correctly because water would flow out all over the floor. We had to use lots of extra wash clothes and bath towels to try and stop this. It’s clearly been a problem for a while because there is damage to the floor and wall near it. I’m sure there has to be mold in there. The worst part to me was that there is clearly a roach problem! They were everywhere! We killed at least 20 while we were there. I would not recommend this property!

The condo is roomy - and is well equipped in the kitchen if you should want to cook. We did not. Location is great for traveling up and down the strip to dining out. The beach is not a wide one so for older people it is easy to get to. The pool area is nice. Even though we were on the second floor it was quiet. Now the condo could use some updates. Twin mattresses need to be replaced. If it were me I would figure out how to put a king in the front bedroom, queen in the center bedroom and two doubles in the street side bedroom. It would be more practical. Less furniture in two of the bedrooms would accomplish that . Who needs a love seat in the bedroom at the beach.
You could not ask for a nicer rental company to deal with while on
vacation. TVs were a challenge. Hint- front bedroom tv is controlled by the light switch. No instructions at all on anything in the condo except the arm bands. Wear your arm bands - security is on the ball and will ask you where they are. Did see a bug - but the bug man came by and sprayed on one of the days we were there. All and all we had a wonderful time. But again some painting and deep cleaning is due.

The unit looked as if it had been freshly painted and some new furnishings displayed, so it was very pretty. I feel like the garden tub should be replaced with a walk-in shower because the after market hand held shower nozzle ran water on to the floor. The middle bedroom had a shower leak around the grout of the tile near the floor and displayed some black mold. The lights flickered the whole weeks stay. We love the gulf shores area.

We had a great time with events. They were in very close proximity. However the unit was not very clean. Old trash from previous occupants found in corners and bedside. Dirt in bathrooms. TVs didn’t work. But we had limited time in complex so everything worked out. Parking very limited.

We had a wonderful time in Gulf Shores! The rental was very clean and comfortable. It was in the perfect location. Loved that we only had to walk down one flight of stairs to the beach and that it was an end unit. I called the rental management a few times before our trip and they were very helpful with my questions. I would highly recommend gulf shores rentals.

Great Condo and great value! Just as pictured on VRBO. A/C was out when we arrived, contacted property management and they had someone there within 10 mins. It was Sunday, part not available till Monday. Monday 8am, showed up and repaired everything. Never seen such responsiveness and courtesy. Very impressed.
Location was perfect. Smaller beach crowds than when we walked toward Orange beach and waves were great. Brand new sand rinsing station from beach. Blocks from convenience stores and restaurants.
Not a new building but well maintained. Dish TV, each bedroom with a bathroom made it better for us with 3 boys. Corner condo so only one common wall and loved the larger unit and 3rd bedroom. This unit has some palm trees partially blocking beach view but not much. Kitchen was well stocked and laundry was easy to handle towels, etc.
Only suggestion for property owners, replace carpet and mattress in master bedroom. All other beds were good. We will be back and would definitely recommend to others needing 3 beds and baths.

We love the location and the condo. We especially like being on the lower floor so we can just walk up a flight of stairs.

The condo was clean, going to/from the beach was easy and convenient. We were still close enough to restaurants for a quick dinner but far enough away, all you could hear was the Gulf at night. We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay in Ocean House 1206 despite COVID and tropical storm Cristobol. The management company was very good to work with and explained carefully about checking in and the conditions at the time we arrived. We have stayed at Ocean House many times over the years so we love this property and always look for a unit there.
The condo itself looked pretty nice but had a few maintenance and age issues. The bathroom in the street side bedroom is badly in need of renovation. If we had been able to see this condition in the pictures, we probably would have chose another unit. The washer and dishwasher were both really loud and disturbed our kids if we tried to run them after bedtime. The sliding door in the oceanside bedroom did not lock. And during the storm, the door to the outdoor storage closet repeatedly swung open because it wouldn’t latch or lock.

This property needs quite a few updates if you ask me. I pretty much got tired of stepping on the tack strip from the carpet in front bedroom coming out of bathroom because it's all frayed. Power went off 3 times in 2 days luckily on the second day after 2 outages they sent an electrician to fix this problem. No table on balcony so I couldn't sit out there and drink my coffee in the mornings. Just all around I felt I should of had much nicer for myself and family for the price I paid. I don't normally nitpick about things but I was very disappointed with my accommodations. Sorry but that's just how I feel.
