Lots of space for a family vacation with grandparents, siblings and grandkids. Glad it had 3 bathrooms.

We stayed in this home with some friends and their kids. It is a nice short walk to the beach, and the beach is relatively quiet and private. Boardwalk is short, and plenty of room to grab a good spot by the water.
The pools are nice as well, the one closest to the house didn’t have a lick of shade so we walked the walk to the one at the front of the neighborhood and that one has some shade. Both pools were nice and clean and fun for the kids. The guys loved playing pickleball as well so a nice touch to have access to that as well!
There was plenty of space for us and the children, the bunk room did not have a fan and gets evening sun so it was very warm for the kids so I would recommend maybe bringing a curtain or a fan for the room as it would get very hot in the afternoons. The rest of the home was nice and cool for our stay.
We did have an issue with ants in the kitchen, we noticed them at check in but it was very few so we thought they’d be on their way out but unfortunately only got worse for the rest of our stay despite never leaving food out and cleaning up behind ourselves. I called and let them know, they were very nice and apologetic and said they’d get someone out to spray but unfortunately we didn’t get any further communication about them. Hopefully they come before the next stay!
The home had plenty of towels, extra sheets and blankets, and a pretty stocked kitchen! The screened in patio was such a nice touch especially with having 3 kids under 3. There is a hose under the house to rinse off or there’s also a shower. A nice size dining room table for everyone to sit to and comfy couches and beds.
Overall we were very happy with our stay despite the ants! We would recommend this home and stay here again.

House was in a great location and was the perfect size for our family. We enjoyed everything about it. Had a few complaints about some things that needed to be fixed but never saw anyone during our stay to address these issues.

Great location, short walk to beach access, home located in culdasac so great for kids to ride scooters and pool was right at the end of culdasac too. Beautiful beach, quite, house was perfect! Loved the ceiling fans that kept me nice and cool at night. Comfortable beds too.

The house itself is nice and comfortable, but there are many things that need to be fixed. The shower on the main level has a showerhead that leaks badly. Lightbulbs need replaced. The ceiling fan on the main level doesn't work. There's a small grill, but we had to do a lot of cleaning before we could use it. There's a washer and dryer, but they're very noisy. Towels are provided, but only the bare minimum. We had to constantly wash towels and we had to provide the laundry soap. The outside shower worked so poorly, that we just used a garden hose instead of using it. It rained heavily one night & one of the windows on the main level leaked quite badly. We had to use the towels to mop up the water. The couches are worn out and need to be replaced. There are no extra blankets. Overall, it's a nice place, but when you get down to the basics, it's not very comfortable.

Great place to stay. 5-minute walk to the beautiful Gulf Shore sands. Home was clean and welcoming, just as pictures appear. Great for a quiet getaway this time of year. Would rent again anytime. Had an early issue with Wifi, which they had up and running quickly. Very responsive.

Overall Sunset Sands is a perfect place for a vacation stay. It is within walking distance from multiple beach access points. It is a BEAUTIFUL HOME! We did have to call maintenance in regards to a leak. They answered quickly and came out within a few hours. There were a few things that were not "perfect" but that's any place. A few things to know in advance just to make your trip easier:
*bring extra trash bags - we couldn't find any at all anywhere in the house.
*they supply two things of laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent. Bring some of your own too.
*The TV upstairs in the master is a ROKU Tv - there are no remotes. Use a virtual ROKU remote if needed.
* Upstairs kids bedroom TV doesn't have satellite or ROKU access - so it pretty much does nothing. I feel this one is important to know for little ones during down time.
* There is a coffee maker - Normal type - They did supply coffee filters
* Fridge and freezer are normal size which is great!
* PLENTY of cups, plates, cooking supplies
* Grill is super small and ran off of a mini propane grill - we didn't even use it
The beds, particularly upstairs, are SO comfortable. The bunk beds are probably the most comfortable in the entire house. The bunk beds also have a trundle bed underneath - we didn't need this but it was awesome to see the capability to hold more people if needed. The master upstairs is stunning and we LOVED walking out onto the balcony with a cup of coffee each morning. This truly is a perfect beach house if you are trying to stay budget friendly while wanting all of the comforts of home. Highly recommend a stay here.
We also didn't use the pool or other amenities but we saw them and they looked nice. Beach is great - clean, clear water, white sand - not horribly crowded. The community of Morgantown is very cute and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed the area.

This is our 9th year staying in Morgantown but our first at this particular property/rental company. The house overall looks like the photos on website. There are always minor issues with any rental property but this property had a long list of issues. Some were safety related such as the broken stair rail and split step at top of stairs inside, unstable legs on chairs, missing batteries in smoke detectors, and the front door did not secure properly. Other issues were inconvenient such as ice maker not working (reported but they could not repair until following day so we bought our own ice), blown light bulbs in fixtures, missing batteries in remote to fan(only way to turn off), broken porch fan. There were also cleaning issues. We discovered items (some not very family friendly) left behind by previous renters and mold/mildew on shower curtains, hairs in tub that indicated housekeeping was not up to standards. The vessel sinks and faucets were the WORST! All 3 faucets were loose and wobbled on counter top when turning on and the sinks are just not practical to use and would fill and then drain very slowly. If for no other reason will not rent this property again because of those sinks. The screened in porch was nice and proximity to pool good. The bed in master was ok but to describe any of those mattresses as ‘“ premium” is quite a stretch. This could be a nice rental if these things were taken care of and get rid of the vessel sinks.

Noticeable Improvements have been made to the property since we stayed here last year. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and wish we could have come four weeks earlier as planed. We had a little issue with the satellite system, they no longer use it and now are streaming You tube only on the main floor. I contacted Aqua and they came and installed a HD antenna in the master bedroom.

This was a perfect location, just a few minutes walk from the beach. It had nice decorations and updates. For the price, I would definitely choose it again. However, it had several small issues - front screen door knob broken and the door kept swinging open, sink drains not working, some faucets loose, master bedsheet didn't fit tightly on mattress so it kept coming off, couldn't get Direct tv to work, and the porch ceiling fan didn't work. So these are very small things, but all together they added up and would have made our stay more enjoyable if they were fixed. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would visit again. Take some kind of spray for the biting gnats or "no-see-ums!"

The house is very nice. Location is good and just a few minutes walk from the beach. It is about 25 minutes from town though. Also the sounds at night from the pond behind the property are awesome. The only thing we really noticed was that under the beds had not been swept and we found a few things left behind by another group. The check in process was a little odd but overall it was a great place to stay. I would highly recommend.

Property was as described, excellent family atmosphere, quiet and beaches weren't crowded, home was well kept and maintained, everything we expected and more. Excellent customer service, we left some shoes and they mailed them to us. We enjoyed the local food truck park and food establishments. Short drive to gulfshores drive for more activities. Will definitely be vacationing here again!

The house is located in a quiet neiborhood/ subdivision.The house was very clean with beautiful decor. Within walking distance to the beach and pool. A short drive to restaurants and shopping. If your wanting to get away from the crowds this is the perfect location. Enjoy!

Aqua Vacation was wonderful to deal with ! They were more than helpful ! Our home away from home was very nice and spacious and clean ! We would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a great vacation rental !
