We love love the location, but for the price we pay the bed needs a new mattress and the bathroom needs major work. The refrigerator barely kept our things cold and made no ice.
The outdoor furniture was broken and the doors would barely open.
We have stayed here for years and love the area!! Just when you pay very high prices you expect better ��

The condo was wonderful except for a small amount of things. The shower leaked a lot and the bed was uncomfortable but everything else was so great.

The view was amazing. The condo was clean but needed new outdoor furniture for the balcony and the refrigerator did not keep our contents as cold as it needed to be. Overall, I would recommend the condo.

Overall thing were ok. When we walked in there was a very musty smell which we cured with some air freshener we later purchased. The smoke detector was without a battery and maintenance replaced it on day two. Both sliding door were very difficult to open. Updated bedroom and dining furniture would make the experience better. It was very dated. Also the entry door should be replaced due to the jam being busted. It doesn’t appear to be vert
Y secure. All in all we enjoyed the say and will come back again. All staff were very courteous.

Been coming here for many years but the customer service has steadily gone downhill, the rates have priced the average family out of here. They used to give return customer discounts and even 1 round of free golf per night at many local championship courses. Sandpiper is becoming just another over priced condo and no one at the registration/check in could care less if your fridge is broken or anything else for that matter.

Check in was easy and quick! Sandpiper has all the amenities you need... beach, harbor, boat launch, Louisiana lagniappe, golf, pools and beach bar. Not sure you get that anywhere else!

This is our FAVORITE unit!!! The views are spectacular for sunrise and sunset. We loved spending time on the balcony. The unit was very clean and very comfortable. We have enjoyed staying at Sandpiper Cover over the past 20 years. The nine hole golf course is another HUGE plus for us! We can’t say enough about the Louisiana Lagniappe restaurant that is on the property too! We plan to see y’all again next year for our 38th Anniversary.

I will start with the positives: this room is beautiful and has a perfect location! However, when we arrived we were told the refrigerator was out and we would only have a dorm sized one. This caused us to spend much more money as we had to eat out for every meal. Additionally, the shower leaks unless you turn the shower head to the side.

Shannon was a sweetheart! She found us a place to stay at the LAST MINUTE. And it was a beautiful place right on the water's edge. We only stayed three nights, but those three nights were peaceful.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Sandpiper Cove in 2114. The view of beach was awesome and we really enjoyed being right on the beach. We really like being close to all our favorite places in Destin. This was our first stay at Sandpiper Cove and we would definitely love to stay again!!

We stayed for a week in this condo and loved it! It was very clean, and we couldn’t have had a better view! We could actually hear the ocean at night through the locked doors! The condo could use some updating, especially the bathroom and the outdoor furniture. Also, the shower leaks. However, since the condo was clean, I would be willing to overlook those problems and stay there again just for the beautiful view.

Check in and check out was smooth. Amenities were good. The deck and the ocean view were the highlights of this trip. Sliding glass doors to the deck were difficult to operate. Cleaned track and W-40. It helped a little. Purchased a squeegee to clean the sliding glass doors. The best restaurant, IOHO, was the Louisiana Lagniappe and it was in the complex.

A prime location directly on the beach with beautiful views of the ocean. The condo was very comfortable and clean. The only issues were the deck had several boards that were loose and are turning up at the ends. Which resulted in a stubbed toe. The shower leaks a considerable amount. The standing light at the couch had to plugged in to work because the off-on switch did not work.

The prior reviews of this unit are accurate. The view of the beach from the deck is incredible and almost allows you to look past the unit's shortcomings.
We expected the shower to leak just as the reviews state. It does. It leaks due to the shower door not staying closed during use. If you turn the shower head away from the door the problem is negated but you really can't get wet while showering.
We expected the deck to have soft boards and be in rough condition. It is.
We were surprised when the laundry door fell off it's track on first use.
The sliders to the deck are very hard to open.
The foot washers at the bottom of most unit's stairs didn't work so we had to wash off our feet by carrying glasses of water from the kitchen sink to the stairs.
On a positive note it is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean.
The Sandpiper Cove staff was friendly and professional. This was our second visit here but first time in #2114. In spite of the unit's shortcomings the view of the beach from the deck almost makes it worth staying here again.

Management was extremely responsive. Nice family resort. Spectacular beach.
The only big drawback are the cell towers on top of the nearby buildings sending RF down on to the beach. Stay back near the sand dune when you lay in the sun. It is higher out by the water or any where you can look up and see a cell phone structure on a building. When you can see it, it is radiating you.

Beautiful condo on the beach! Watched the dolphins play in the waves, rays jumping, birds and people all from the deck. Well equipped kitchen, COVID clean, very comfortably furnished, beach chairs and shell net supplied. BUT beware of the shower that leaks a lot of water. Put an extra towel down on the left side of the door to prevent flooding. We will return. Thank you for a great visit.

Fantastic place right on the beach! The shower was really tiny and leaked out of the shower door. The deck/balcony needs some repairs. Overall a nice place.

We stay in this condo every year. The view cannot be topped. We sit on the balcony every morning and evening to watch dolphins. The interior of the condo is average. There are new stairs leading up to the condo that are really nice. The balcony needs maintenance. There are a few soft boards and a board that has bowed up. We love staying at Sandpiper! The guests, workers, and beach setup crew are all very friendly and down to earth. Sandpiper is our home away from home.

Our second year in this condo for the winter and I hope there will be many more. A nice owner who had replaced several kitchen items that were showing age but still worked. Well kept condo with a view that can't be beat. Love it.

Outstanding condo! Very clean, bed was great and pictures don't do it justice. Only issue was shower door didn't close properly. Location on the beach was perfect listening to the waves each night. Target and Winn Dixie just up the road and all the great restaurants were just minutes away. Look forward to coming back!

This condo was really great! I just couldn’t get over the remarkable waterfront view. The condo was very clean and the location was perfect. If you are wanting to cook in the kitchen you will need to bring all of your own spices, oil, etc. The king size bed was very comfortable. We were able to go on a dolphin cruise and we went parasailing. All of this was a short drive from the condo. The beach was perfect. You may want to bring your own chairs and umbrella or you may rent them on the beach. We thought the daily rental was a little expensive. Overall we loved this condo and we had a wonderful and relaxing time!

The condo itself was great. Had to get a toaster from the office a couple of lights changed, and we needed to get a few boards on the deck screwed down. All we done promptly. All in all it was a great stay.

The rental process was mostly stress-free. I do believe there could have been more details concerning paying for the rental (how do pay remaining balance, etc.) I would encourage the rental owners to consider rebuilding the deck for on the verge of being unsafe(boards loose, etc.) Also, invest in a Keurig. Overall a great experience.

This property was Amazing. The photos on line were very accurate to the actual view and condo itself (no camera tricks). The property was spotless and maintained. This location is perfect for a peaceful getaway with great views and access to the beach.

Sandpiper Cove is our favorite vacation spot! We've been coming here for almost 40 years. We love the fish tacos at LaPaz. Our other favorite places to eat are LOUISIANA LAGNIAPPE, and BOSHAMPS. Sexton's has wonderful, fresh seafood if you'd like to eat in and fix your own. A daily walk to Jetty's is a must!

The rental was exactly as pictured. Everything was clean. Its the perfect size for 2 people. It was nice to be on the beach, however you hear every little thing outside. The AC was not keeping the rental cool at all. It said it was 71 but felt more like 75 or so. We also did not like the fact that a maintenance man came banging on the door then peeked his head in before we opened it... all to change an air filter which could have waited until we checked out. The location was very convenient, lots of good restaurants and things to do just minutes away. Overall I would recommend this rental to someone.

My family and I have been vacationing at SCC since 1981. We prefer beachside because of the beautiful view of the Gulf. The staff is excellent, the units are clean, and for the most part, in very good shape. We enjoy the convenience and atmosphere of LA Lagniappe restaurant. We are returning this year.
