Great location. A hidden gem with great beach access and plenty of space to spread out. The lodging was most adequate with most everything you could need. The place was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Only con I could think of is that the shower is slow to drain, but this is likely due to a summer of people being sandy and rinsing off inside. Plenty of good eats nearby. A super easy lunch/dinner was The Backporch; being right next door, so it was an easy walk in the sand to enjoy fresh local seafood. P

Everything was good. We like the full size water heaters at this location.

Carpet is nasty! Bath fixtures coming out of the wall, blinds fall off and broken, folding towel rack broken but had been duct taped still fell apart, no hot pads in kitchen. Needs K cup coffee option, no sharp knife. Needs kitchen storage. Storage in hallway and underneath bunks sticks out and easy to bump. Mattresses on bunks and sofa are horrible. Sleeping on floor is preferable! Bath and kitchen difficult to navigate. This unit needs a total remodel and should not be charged the same as others in the building.

The location of the property cannot be beat. We really enjoyed the private beach, beach rentals, and limited number of guests on the beach. The unit itself was outdated and could use some upgrades. While the unit listed 6 people for sleeping, we found the pull-out couch so uncomfortable that we could not sleep on it. We utilized pillows from the chair to sleep on the pull-out couch. My seven year old granddaughter said, "the metal bumps hurt her back". The unit was mostly clean withe the exception of the sheets on the king bed. There was a large stain on the fitted sheet, and after washing, the stain was gone. Not sure if the sheet was dirty when put on or left on when cleaned. Other linens were clean and crisp. The furniture layout of the room was odd with the double chair turned away from the tv in the corner. It would have worked better next to the couch and the table placed where the chair was at. Beautiful view and location. Waves and beach were perfect all week. We would stay at the Destin Seafarer again however, we would select another unit. Beds needs updated and overall aesthetic appeal for the cost.

We have always had beautiful rental condos in this building, until now. The condo was very clean and everything worked as it should. The master bed was very comfortable.
However, the condo needs a complete renovation. Walls, doors, baseboards, bathroom tile, tub/shower need to be replaced. There is a large hole in the wall of the condo on the balcony. The foundation around it looks concerning. The knife set in the kitchen was almost unusable--very dull knives. This was Condo #109. For the same amount of rent we will get a different/better condo next time.

Shower backed up, water to our knees. Bed is awful, can feel springs and you sink in the middle. Blinds broken in bedroom and living room. No privacy unless lights are off. Overall room was clean, staff is amazing as always. This room was by far the worst we have ever stayed in during our 10 years of staying at the Seafarrer.

We really enjoyed our Stay. The location is perfect. The complex was well maintained and very friendly staff. The unit had a lot of home away from home extras that were much appreciated. After our stay we booked again for a few weeks later.

I’ll preface this review saying our family had a good time. We enjoyed our vacation and were able to enjoy Destin. However, I do want to share some details that the pictures do not on the listing. I’ll list pros and cons.
Pros: Good location. Building is located on a side road and has light traffic. Beach was clean and had no issues with chairs and umbrella service. Unit had 2 nice outdoor chairs and 2 cheap ones. Good for our family of 4.
Cons: Both the unit, building, and pool were dated. The unit is in dire need of upgrades. I’d categorize it as staying at Grandmas house. No updates since it was built (or if there were they were years ago). Unit also had a musty smell on day 1 that required the frequent use of an air freshener. Seemed to dissipate as the week went on. The bunk area should have a curtain to allow others to turn the lights on after kids (who else is going to use the bunks) fall asleep. The pool was probably the area that needed the most attention. Fence felt like it was falling apart, chipped concrete and stone all around, and a serious bug problem (likely a common problem, however, skimming alone did not clean the pool well enough as the bottom had a lot of debris. Both the pool and hot tub has green algae growing on the walls. The hot tub was much worse than the pool.
A few notes to add, they did appear to have recently upgraded the decking heading out to the beach.
Overall, it was OK. I would not recommend my friends or family to stay here in the future until upgrades are made. Again, for the money spent it should be nicer.

This property is located wonderfully close to the beach. The window in the living room outlooks over the ocean. Of course, this is why we come to Destin. However, their unit we stayed in, 109, was in need of updating. There were places where where paint, peeled off the walls, the tub was very dirty, the bathroom floor was nasty in the corners. Paint was peeling off the vanity, the refrigerator door handle was rusted and when you pulled on it, it felt like it was going to pull off. Overall, we love the Seafarer Inn, however, will never stay at this unit again, unless they do some serious updating.

Our two-week stay was fabulous! This is our second stay in Seafarer #109, and we truly enjoyed our time there. The location is ocean front. This condo has comfortable furnishings, and well-equipped kitchen, great pool, comfortable bed and bath. We look forward to another stay in #109 in 2023.

We’ve stayed at the Seafarer our last few Destin vacations and it is our favorite spot to stay in Destin. It’s older yet we love the location. We’ve stayed in a different condo each time and 109 is probably the one is worst condition. I hesitate to complain because we love the Seafarer. The receptionist was so nice and helpful. But the condo had so many things that need fixing and everything could be fixed so easily and promptly in one afternoon .The sliding door wouldn’t lock, refrigerator door handle loose, all faucets needed repairs, shower needed a new sprayer.... I could go on. The decor seemed to be lacking but the furniture was in good condition and the bed mattress was ok. The beach guy was VERY slow to get his chairs and umbrellas out each day. The condos around us had theirs up way ahead of him. But we still very much enjoyed our stay and will always check that place first.

The pictures were very deceiving. This condo was super tiny with absolutely no storage space. I was expecting drawers under the bunks but it was locked. No one could use the fold out couch due to it being just springs. Management could not provide anything for it. It would have been perfect for 2 people. Our first night there the toilet over flowed. We had to but extension cords for the bunks and a fan for the bedroom. Would not recommend for more than 2 people.

This unit was a very welcoming place. It was clean, well decorated, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we might need. The location is great in relation to the beach access and the view was amazing. We felt right at home during our stay, and hated to leave when our time was up.
